Film a throw, mark the ball, get your next move.

Film

Film from behind the approach

Prop your phone up behind you, about head height, pointing straight down the lane so both gutters and the pins are in frame. Keep it still for every throw so one lane fit covers the whole session.

  1. Record or choose a video.
  2. Drag 4 handles onto the lane corners once. A drawn lane grid shows you when it fits.
  3. Step frame by frame and tap the ball at release, at the arrows, at its breakpoint and at the pins.
  4. Tap the pins left standing. The coach does the rest.

No video? Type your numbers into Your line and the coach still works.

Your line Example throw

Boards count from your side's gutter (board 1 is the outside board, 20 is the middle). Blue fields were measured from the video; you can overwrite any of them.

Pins left standing

Strike

Tap a pin to mark it as still standing after your first ball.

Measurements come from your taps on a phone video, so treat boards as ±1 and angles as estimates. The move rules follow the common "2-and-1" adjustment (feet move twice as far as your target) used on typical house patterns. Sport and short patterns may need different moves.
